BibleStory Kids — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 21, 2026 Last updated: September 21, 2026
BibleStory Kids is a children’s storytelling application operated by Plantrix Global (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The app provides audio stories and learning activities for children, with accounts, child profiles, and subscriptions intended to be managed by parents or guardians.
This Privacy Policy explains what information BibleStory Kids processes, how it is used, how parents and guardians can manage their children’s information, and how to request account or data deletion.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how BibleStory Kids is used, we may process the following information:
Parent or guardian account information. This may include an email address, account identifier, sign-in information, and preferences needed to create and manage an account.
Child profile information. This may include information entered when creating a child’s profile, such as a profile name, age or age range, avatar, and story preferences, where those fields are available in the app.
Listening and app activity. This may include selected stories and categories, listening progress, and other information needed to provide the storytelling experience.
Subscription information. This may include purchase identifiers, subscription status, plan information, and records needed to verify purchases and provide the appropriate access. Google Play processes payments made through Google Play. BibleStory Kids does not ask children to enter payment-card details.
Technical information. Our app and service providers may process information needed to operate and secure the service, such as app version, technical logs, and notification tokens.
Support information. If you contact us, we process the information you provide so we can respond to your request.
Parents and guardians should avoid entering unnecessary identifying information about children into profiles or support messages.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and manage parent or guardian accounts and child profiles.
- Deliver stories and learning activities, remember preferences, and support listening features.
- Manage free access, trials, subscriptions, and purchased features.
- Send app-related notifications when enabled.
- Maintain the app, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and protect accounts.
- Respond to support requests, privacy requests, and account-deletion requests.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell children’s personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
3. Children’s privacy and parental involvement
BibleStory Kids is designed for children. Account creation, account management, and subscription purchases are intended to be handled by parents or guardians.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the app and avoid entering unnecessary personal information about children.
A child’s profile can be deleted using the profile-deletion feature available in BibleStory Kids. Parents and guardians may also contact us for assistance with deleting a child’s profile or associated information.
Deleting a child’s profile does not automatically delete the parent or guardian’s entire account. Account deletion is addressed separately in Section 9.
4. Service providers
BibleStory Kids uses technology services to operate its features. These include services provided by:
Google Firebase, which supports features such as account authentication, app data storage, backend functions, story-content storage, and notifications.
Google Play, which supports Android app distribution, subscription purchases, payment processing, and purchase verification.
These providers may process information necessary to deliver their services under their applicable privacy practices.
We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
5. Offline listening and information stored on your device
BibleStory Kids may download story audio and related content to a device to support offline listening.
Downloaded content and certain app preferences may remain on the device until removed through the app, device settings, or app uninstallation, depending on the feature.
Uninstalling BibleStory Kids does not, by itself, delete a parent or guardian’s account or information stored on our servers. To request deletion of server-stored information, follow Section 9.
Subscription and story-access requirements may continue to apply to downloaded content.
6. Notifications
If notifications are enabled, BibleStory Kids may send updates about new stories and other app-related information.
Notification services may process a device notification token to deliver these messages. Notification permissions can be managed through the device’s settings.
7. Data security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information and restrict unauthorized access, including account authentication, access controls, and secure communication with service providers.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Parents and guardians should protect their account credentials and contact us if they suspect unauthorized account access.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate BibleStory Kids, maintain accounts and subscriptions, respond to requests, and meet applicable legal obligations.
When an account-deletion request is completed, personal information associated with that account will be removed from our active systems, except for information that must be retained where required or permitted by law. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or service-provider systems under their applicable retention practices.
Certain purchase or transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
9. Child-profile deletion, account deletion, and data-deletion requests
Deleting a child’s profile
Parents and guardians can use the child-profile deletion feature within BibleStory Kids to delete a child’s profile.
For assistance with deleting a child’s profile or associated information, email biblekids@steveunic.com with the subject line “Child Profile Deletion Request.”
We may need to verify that the requester is authorized to manage the relevant account.
Requesting deletion of an entire account
To request deletion of a BibleStory Kids account and its associated personal information, email biblekids@steveunic.com with the subject line “BibleStory Kids Account Deletion Request.”
Where possible, send the request from the email address associated with the BibleStory Kids account. We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request. We will not ask you to provide your account password by email.
An account-deletion request covers the parent or guardian’s BibleStory Kids account and associated child profiles and app data, subject to information that must be retained where required or permitted by law.
Uninstalling the app does not constitute an account-deletion request and does not automatically delete server-stored account information.
How account-deletion requests are handled
After receiving and verifying an account-deletion request, Plantrix Global will initiate its account-deletion process. The process is intended to identify and remove information associated with the account from BibleStory Kids’ active systems, including applicable Firebase Authentication records, Firestore account and child-profile data, and other user-linked information.
Where information must be retained for legal or accounting reasons, it will be handled separately from the deleted account’s active app data.
We will confirm when the deletion request has been completed and explain any information that must be retained, where applicable.
Deleting a BibleStory Kids account does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play subscription. Parents and guardians should manage or cancel their subscriptions through Google Play.
10. Other privacy requests
Parents and guardians may request access to or correction of personal information associated with their account or their child’s use of BibleStory Kids.
To submit a request, email biblekids@steveunic.com with the subject line “BibleStory Kids Privacy Request.”
We may need to verify that the requester is authorized to act on the relevant account.
11. International processing
BibleStory Kids and its service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country where a user lives. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between those countries.
Where applicable, we take steps intended to ensure that personal information is handled in accordance with relevant legal requirements.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our app, services, or privacy practices change.
We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Operational account-deletion process for Plantrix Global
The following is the implementation specification for BibleStory Kids’ account-deletion workflow. It describes the process to put into operation; writing it here does not itself delete Firebase data or establish that the workflow has been implemented.
1. Receive and verify the request
Accept requests through biblekids@steveunic.com and provide an account-deletion option in the parent-controlled area of the app. Verify account ownership without asking for passwords by email.
2. Identify account-linked information
Use the verified Firebase user ID to locate the account record, child profiles, listening history, preferences, notification tokens, subscription-access records, and other user-linked Firestore documents or Storage objects.
3. Delete associated data
Run a restricted server-side deletion workflow that removes applicable Firestore documents and their subcollections, user-owned Storage objects, notification tokens, and the Firebase Authentication account. Record failures securely so a request is not marked complete while deletion remains unfinished.
4. Address subscriptions and retained records
Explain that account deletion does not necessarily cancel a Google Play subscription. Retain only records that must be kept for applicable legal or accounting reasons.
5. Confirm completion
Confirm completion to the requester and explain any information that must be retained, where applicable.
Publication note: The privacy policy above includes a commitment to process account-deletion requests. Before using it as your final Google Play policy, the Firebase deletion workflow needs to be implemented and tested against BibleStory Kids’ actual data structure. The policy must also be checked against the app’s actual data collection and SDK configuration.
